Working in Partnership with a local main contractor, QuietStar recently completed an ISO-compliant paediatric audiology test room suite for St Helen’s House in Ipswich, UK, part of the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust
QuietStar undertook the design, manufacture, supply and installation of the testing suite, which includes a separate observation room and adjacent waiting area.
While the main contractor undertook the construction of a new extension to house the QuietStar facility, the team at QuietStar worked closely with all personnel involved, providing full integration of finishes, air conditioning, lighting, power, cabling and all testing equipment within the specialist facility.
The works were successfully carried out and completed despite restrictive access to the fully operative working site. This was hindered further by additional restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The site remained open throughout and the QuietStar team is pleased to report that the contract was completed on programme and to budget.
