Acoustic Panels & Wall Lining
Acoustic Wall Panels & Wall Lining
QuietStar supplies and installs a comprehensive range of acoustic wall panels and wall lining systems, designed to control reverberation, reduce echo, and improve the sound environment in both commercial and industrial spaces. Whether you’re specifying for a clinical environment, a high-performance test facility, or a client-facing interior where aesthetics matter as much as acoustics, we offer three distinct panel types to suit the application: fabric-wrapped absorbers, metal-faced acoustic panels, and digitally printed acoustic panels.
Fabric Acoustic
Wall Panels

Fabric-wrapped acoustic panels are the preferred choice where interior finish is a priority. Each panel is constructed with a high-density mineral wool or fibreglass absorptive core and covered in an acoustically transparent fabric, available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
These panels are a popular choice for:
- Audiology clinics and hearing aid dispensers
- Boardrooms and executive offices
- Recording and broadcast studios
- Healthcare waiting areas and consulting rooms
Panels can be supplied in custom sizes and shapes, and fabric options can be matched to brand colours or interior design specifications, making them particularly suited to high-end client environments where acoustic performance needs to work alongside a considered aesthetic.
Bespoke Branding & Customisation
For clients with specific brand requirements, panels can be upholstered in branded or designer fabrics, produced in custom dimensions, and finished with a variety of edge profiles. QuietStar works closely with designers, architects, and estates teams to ensure the final installation meets both the acoustic specification and the visual brief.
Metal Acoustic Panels
For industrial, technical, and heavy-use environments, our metal-faced acoustic panels offer a robust, high-performance wall lining solution. These panels feature a perforated steel face bonded to a rock wool absorptive core, allowing sound energy to pass through the perforations and be absorbed by the mineral wool behind.
Available in core thicknesses of 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm, the panels can be specified to suit a range of absorption targets and environmental conditions. The steel face makes them resistant to impact, moisture, and the rigours of working industrial environments, while still delivering strong broadband sound absorption.
Metal-faced acoustic panels are well suited to:
- Plant rooms and mechanical enclosures
- Factories and industrial workshops
- Data centres
- Motorsport and automotive R&D environments
Proven in High-Performance Applications
QuietStar has supplied metal-faced acoustic wall lining for some of the most acoustically demanding environments in the UK, including engine test cells for motorsport and automotive R&D, and large-scale stadium and sports facility installations. These environments demand panels that perform consistently under pressure and our metal-faced systems are built to do exactly that.
Printed acoustic panels combine effective sound absorption with custom printed imagery, creating panels that function as both acoustic treatment and interior feature. The absorptive core, typically high-density fibreglass or mineral wool, is covered with a printed polyester fabric face.
Images can be supplied from a client’s own photography or artwork, selected from a curated image library, or incorporate brand logos and identity. The result is an acoustic panel that reads as a large-format art piece or branded feature wall, rather than a conventional treatment.
These are particularly effective in:
- Hospitality and leisure spaces
- Schools and educational buildings
- Healthcare environments
Printed panels can be produced in a wide range of sizes and combined with fabric-wrapped or metal-faced panels on the same installation, allowing a single project to address different acoustic and aesthetic needs across different zones.
