London Hearing, located on Harley Street amongst some of the most prestigious audiology providers recently contacted QuietStar to supply an additional two QS1 audiology booths for their expanding premises.

London Hearing are in the process of going underground, with a newly refurbished basement expansion of their current premises at 150 Harley Street. With additional consulting rooms, the requirement for extra audiometric testing booths was a necessity.

QuietStar acted quickly with the project, supplying the required booths from UK stock. This meant once the order was placed, it was just a case of shipping them to site, ready for installation by our crew.

As part of the project, the new booths had to be transferred from street level down to the basement using ramps and a small access lift. The QS1 booth is typically delivered to site fully assembled on a specialist pallet. The bespoke packaging allows the booth to be wheeled down a built-in ramp and manoeuvred into position easily using the standard-fitted castors.

As part of the wider refurbishment of the building, a previously used booth also needed to be relocated from the current ground floor to the new basement consulting rooms. Our installation crews also disconnected this and re-installed as per the client specification.

Once installed, the new QS1 booths were independently certified for use having passed a full commissioning service. Both audiology booths were certified for use under ISO BS EN6189 and ISO 8253 for audiometric testing.

Speaking on behalf of London Hearing, Nick Clive, Managing Director said:

From initial contact with Jason at QuietStar to the end result I have been delighted with the support and service offered by this organisation, Jason and his team did a site visit before the installation which made the process feel more organised. The end result is superb and I am delighted that the project was completed within a fairly short time frame as I had requested. I have no hesitation in recommending QuietStar and I cannot emphasise how seamless they made this whole process which actually was quite a big task, I relay this thanks not just from me but my whole team here at London Hearing.
